Hot damn! Will Smith may want a neuralizer for what just happened on a red carpet promoting ‘Men in Black 3.’ The megastar slapped a reporter!

The reporter got a bit too close to Smith for his comfort. The male journo attempted to kiss the actor / rapper / dad-to-Jaden-and-Willow … on the lips. Eek! That’s gotta be awkward for anyone, let alone a married straight guy, and Smith didn’t take it lightly. The ‘Ali’ star, who recently openly endorsed gay marriage, pushed the reporter away, then slapped the guy in the face!

If it were up to Smith, he may have done more than that, as he can be heard on video saying, “He’s lucky I didn’t sucker punch him.”

TMZ reports that the reporter in question’s schtick is to kiss celebs. That may be his thing, but it doesn’t mean all celebs want to be kissed. If Smith’s slap doesn’t teach him a lesson, maybe getting slapped with a sexual harassment lawsuit will.

Heather Morris isn’t just a talented actor, dancer and singer — she’s skilled in the art of pulling pranks, too. The ‘Glee‘ star is hosting the next episode of ‘Punk’d,’ in which she get Cody Simpson and Joe Jonas good.

Morris preys on Jonas’ good nature, by setting him up to take the fall for helping a man steal a television. The pop star did help the a man put a flat screen into his van, but he had no idea he would soon be accused of aiding a theft.

Simpson also gets a shock when he sees a stranger removing his things from his house. “This is my house. He’s stealing my stuff,” the teen star observes. The Australian singer keeps his cool for the most part, that is, until the MTV-hired actor starts smashing things on the ground and yelling.

Actress Emma Roberts also falls victim to Morris’ schemes when she watches an out-of-control incident at a local eatery. Throughout it all, Morris seems like she’s having a barrel of laughs. The new episode of ‘Punk’d’ airs on Thursday, May 24 at 10PM on MTV, so make sure to set your DVRs.

There are many different elements within the workplace that can increase a person’s risk of depression, but a new study suggests that men and women are affected differently.

According to study researcher JianLi Wang, an associate professor of psychiatry and community health sciences at Canada’s University of Calgary, women had increased levels of depression when they felt like they weren’t appreciated at work or given adequate incentives for a job well done. Men appeared to be unaffected by these factors. Some 2,700 people were surveyed.

However, high levels of job strain seemed to increase the risk of depression among men working full-time, but not among women. In fact, 11 percent of men who worked full-time had an increased risk for depression if their job came with a high level of strain. This compared to a 1.5 percent increase in men whose jobs didn’t come with high job strain.

Women, on the other hand, had increased levels of depression while simply working 35-40 hours a week.

Researchers also found that conflicts between family and work affected the risk for depression in both sexes. The difference being that men were more affected when their family life got in the way of work, while women were more distressed when work obstructed their family life.

Professor Wang says,

Major depressive disorder has a significant impact on the health of employees, and affects job performance. Employers should monitor the magnitude of these factors, such as job strain, in order to prevent their full-blown negative effects.”

Researchers believe that these studies could assist in the advancement of strategies for employers to help avoid depression in their employees.

The season finale of ‘The Simpsons’ is going to be an unforgettable one, with Lady Gaga guesting. In addition to wearing 18 ensembles, the Mother Monster makes out with family matriarch Marge, which turns up the heat on her sex life with Homer. Gaga also cries diamond tears (!!!) when Lisa rejects her.

As we know, Gaga roars into Springfield to boost the town’s self-esteem, namely that of Lisa, the town’s (and the show’s) voice of reason. Lisa’s lost “it” and it’s Gaga who wants to help her get it back.

In one clip, Gaga is eating milk and cookies in the kitchen, and no, food-lover Homer isn’t sniffing around trying to snag one. Marge laments being the mother of someone as smart and as sensitive as Lisa and not being able to help her through this rocky patch in her life. Gaga tries to comfort Marge by touching her arm, but the blue beehived one is prickly and winces. Gaga says, “It’s just human contact.”

Mama Monster takes it up a notch and full on makes out with Marge. The scene cuts to Marge and Homer enjoying a little afterglow. This has to be Gaga’s most famous kiss since she planted one on Mayor Bloomberg on New Year’s Eve.

In the other preview clip, Lisa tells Gaga she “denounces” her while they sit on a merry go round in the park. Gaga says, “Easy, little monster,” to which Lisa snarls, “Don’t monster me.” Her sass makes Gaga cry. Lisa is impressed, asking, “Are you crying glitter?” Gaga stops and says, “Tiny diamonds. Hurts like hell.”

Is that enough to win Lisa over and help her “go Gaga?”

Not only are Justin Bieber and Usher good friends, they are also competitive as well. When the R&B crooner held his one-day run in the off-Broadway production of ‘Fuerza Bruta’ to preview his new album ‘Looking 4 Myself,’ Biebs came through to support his boss.

While Bieber thought he was there to enjoy a show, Usher had other intentions. Midway through his performance of ‘Scream,’ Usher challenged Bieber to a dance battle for dance-floor supremacy. “[We] brought him to the middle of the dance floor, and we got it in,” he recalls to MTV News. “But we always show support for each other like that. We was housing a little bit.”

Usher takes great pride in watching Bieber evolve into a pop superstar. At 18 years of age, Bieber has been able to achieve his dreams and surround himself with some good people. “Cool part about it is, he’s really able to live a dream that I think most teenagers would want to,” says Usher. “To be able to have friends like [Floyd] Mayweather — they are actual friends, hang out, talk — it’s really cool to be able to have friends all around the world and people that can relate to your reality.”

“I don’t think Michael [Jackson] had people like that,” he continued. “I didn’t have a ton of people like that. I had Puff. I had JD [producer Jermaine Dupri] … but to be able to have friends all around the world that keep you, it’s cool.”

Sadly, Usher reveals that a Justin Bieber and Usher duet is still in the works. “We actually have the first phase of both of our albums, which the song will not be featured there but stayed tuned,” he said. “We want to make sure it’s perfect. Neither one of us wanted the hoopla of it just being a publicity moment. When it’s finished it’s going to be an incredible [song].”

Selena Gomez is in Bulgaria shooting the remake of ‘The Getaway,’ so perhaps that’s why she blew off a little steam and fired a gun at a shooting range! Whatever the reason or the case that Sel grabbed a weapon, one thing is for sure: Justin Bieber‘s No. 1 gal sure is a bada–.

Gomez tweeted two photos where she is brandishing a weapon in a closed, controlled and ultimately safe setting. Well, at least we think it’s Sel, since we only see her back and her glossy mane of black hair, which is probably how the cameraman preferred it. After all, who wants someone aiming a loaded weapon at ‘em, even for a photo opp?

In one shot, she’s solo, wearing a striped tank and baggy jeans. She included the caption, “released some stress today.” Well, that’s one way to rid your body and life of stress, by letting it out during target practice. It’s also a great way to practice for a film role. Two birds, one gun, er, stone.

In the second image, she’s paired with a pal or a co-star! Their backs to the camera, as she fires. She tweeted:  “We’re on one.”

Donna Summer passed away a little over 24 hours ago, and already, some sensational stories surrounding her death are popping up. It’s being reported that the ‘Last Dance’ singer and queen of disco believed she contracted lung cancer from inhaling the toxic air that hovered over New York City in the wake of the 9/11 tragedy.

TMZ reports that sources close to the late singer, who died yesterday (May 17) at the age of 63, was living in New York City during the 9/11 crisis, in an apartment located close the Ground Zero site. The insider claims that Summer was paranoid about breathing the air, which was laced with a horrible odor after the buildings came down.

Even as time passed, Summer became more and more convinced that the air was toxic. An insider said she would spritz disinfectant into the air on a near-constant basis. It’s not just nameless sources, either. Onetime ‘Dance Fever’ host Deney Terrio said that whenever has saw the ‘Hot Stuff’ hitmaker after 9/11, she would hang silk sheets in the dressing room as a preventative method. She wanted to create a barrier between herself and the dust.

Summer was a smoker and spent time in clubs where people smoked before it was a banned activity, so friends tried to tell her that was likely a contributing factor to her lung cancer, but she wasn’t having any of it.

Additionally, Summer, a Born Again Christian, felt that 9/11 was somehow a metaphysical attack on Christians and that her illness was a result of the attack.

When you go to Arby’s you expect to get finger food like, say, tater tots with horsey sauce. What you don’t expect is to be served an actual finger. But, a human finger is exactly what one kid got in his junior roast beef sandwich.

Ryan Hart, a 14-year-old Michigan teen was eating at a local Arby’s restaurant last Friday when he bit down on something that was kind of tough and tasted rubbery. He spit it out to see what it was and realized right away that it was the fleshy tip of someone’s finger. The disgusted Hart told the Jackson Citizen Patriot, “I was like, ‘That (has) to be a finger.’ I was about to puke … it was nasty.”

He was correct. It was the finger of an employee who had cut herself on the meat slicer and then left her station without telling anyone what had happened. Everyone else continued to fill orders in the kitchen until they found out about her injury. Then, according to an Arby’s spokesperson, the staff shut down food production and cleaned and sanitized the restaurant.

The employee was then treated at the hospital. Hart was also taken to the hospital. His mother called 911 and was met by police at a health center where Hart’s blood was drawn and he was prescribed medication. He said he was feeling fine.

The franchise has complied with health officials and has been allowed to remain open. Hart’s mother has spoken with an attorney, but has not decided if she’ll pursue a case.

This incident doesn’t bode well for Arby’s for the time being, but in the future, if zombies ever descend upon their restaurant, they’ll know exactly what to do.

Peggy Marie Pence Schuster and Henry O. Freund first felt a spark between them back in 1950 when the pair attended Southwestern of Memphis (now Rhodes College).

They exercised their young love by sitting next to each other in class and attending school events together. But like many college sweethearts, their romance didn’t make the jump into the real world. Soon after graduation, Marie married someone else, and Henry, who had joined the Air Force, did the same.

Both had long marriages and three children. Henry became a pastor after his discharge from the military. In 2001, Henry, who was a widower, learned at a church meeting that Marie had also recently become widowed. So he sent her a note of condolence.

It took a decade for Marie to respond to her old college flame, but when they did get in contact, the pair started emailing each other regularly.

“It didn’t take long for the spark that had survived for 60 years to burst into flames,” Henry explained.

The two octogenarians were married over the weekend at the Canterbury Place Assisted Living in Dyersburg, TN, where they will live after their honeymoon. Together, finally, after six decades. It’s stories like this that prove that true love comes to those who wait.

With the unemployment rate being what it is, a lot of people these days are being forced to work for minimum wage. But exactly how much you get could depend largely on what state you’re in.

The federal minimum wage is currently set at $7.25 per hour, but since it’s not a mandate, not all states pay that rate, while others pay more.

Raising a state’s minimum wage is often left to voters. For example, Missouri residents will decide later this year whether to bump workers’ pay from $7.25 to $8.25 per hour, and the measure would also require tipped employees to receive at least 60 percent of that rate, a 10 percent increase over the current standard.

Some restaurant owners are unhappy about the proposal, which would of course cost them more money, and other opponents say raising a state’s minimum wage can cause businesses to hire fewer employees, which would especially hurt younger workers — something that’s hotly contested by many economists.

So where are minimum wages highest and lowest?

Pink graces the June 2012 cover of Cosmo, looking slim and trim in a red bandage dress. Less than a year after giving birth to daughter Willow Sage, new mom Pink has dropped the baby weight and looks banging. She was candid about how her life has changed since welcoming Willow into the world.

“I’m used to going into the studio and smoking and drinking until three in the morning,” the singer confessed to the mag. “But I can’t drink as much because I’m breastfeeding. See this glass of wine? Before, I’d have, like, four of them. Now, one is good. Oh, and I quit smoking… I’ve exorcised a lot of my demons, but I’m still working on myself. I think I’ll be a work in progress for the rest of my life.”

The singer also shared that Willow sleeps in bed with her mom and dad, so she and hubby Carey Hart have to “schedule” alone time! “We’ve never had a problem with affection. But with a baby? It’s kinda gross, but you have to schedule it,” she said.

The parents are thinking of rearranging Willow’s sleeping accomodations at some point. “We’re just starting to think about putting her somewhere else, at least for a little while,” the songstress said. “Either that, or we’ll have to resort to getting it on in the laundry room.”

Speaking of sexy, the singer was not shy about saying she did not feel beautiful with a bulging belly. She gained 55 pounds during the gestation period, joking “my baby may be part cheesecake.” She didn’t feel pretty, at all. “I thought I’d feel like a goddess. They sell you on that… like you’ll never feel more feminine. Really, I just felt like a mess,” Pink said.

Feeling like a mess at the time or not, she looks uh-mazing right now.

A new study confirms that women are checking their reflections in mirrors (or any reflective surface, for that matter) around eight times per day. The more shocking result of the study is that they don’t enjoy doing so.

A study conducted by the UK’s Simple Skincare company polled 2,000 British women about their mirror habits on a daily basis. Fifty percent of the women won’t leave the house without a mirror, while 10 percent confirmed that they whip out their compact to take a look-see at least 10 times a day.

But the women weren’t simply admiring their visages. They were touching up makeup or their hair, actions for which a mirror or reflective surface is necessary.

While constant checking of their looks might seem vain or self-indulgent, further results indicate it’s actually not something that makes women feel good about themselves nor does it boost their confidence.

Seventy-five percent claimed to “hate” looking in the mirror, with 39 percent admitting that doing so made them feel negative about themselves.

The mirror-checking survey indicates that women spend a good chunk of time on their appearance, even if they don’t particularly like doing so.

Social pressures are seen as the reason women constantly look at themselves. “There is so much more attention on how women look compared with how men look, and women who constantly check their appearance are more likely to be self-conscious than vain,” Dr. Christine Bundy, a senior lecturer in health and medical psychology at the University of Manchester, said.

“It’s a good size, really,” iPhone owners have told Apple. “It’s OK that it’s small. It’s more about how you use it,” they added reassuringly. But the insecure company isn’t having any of it. It’s paying attention to those screen enhancement spam emails and listening to those late-night “marital aid” radio commercials. And it’s obsessed with getting bigger.

That’s according to The Wall Street Journal, which reports Apple will be upping its 3.5-inch screen size to something close to a full 4 inches. The new phone, which is rumored to be going into production in June, will probably come out in the fall.

Apple apparently feels the need to get bigger because Samsung says its Samsung Galaxy S II will be swinging a 4.8-inch screen. And they say once you go Samsung, you don’t give a damn (about the competition), son.

We haven’t had many complaints about our 3.5 inches. The ladies tell us that it’s girth that matters.

Rapper 50 Cent is on the mend after he was hospitalized with a stomach virus. Fiddy checked into a hospital on Wednesday (May 16) for treatment but seemed to be in good spirits. After he admitted himself, the ‘Wait Until Tonight’ rapper tweeted a photo of himself flanked by stuffed animals in a hospital bed.

The picture featured 50 with a cute stuffed giraffe to his right, a large stuffed lion on his left and a stuffed elephant in between his legs. The photo was accompanied by a tweet, “Do not do a @djdrama gangsta grillz this is all I get. Ain’t this a b—-. I give 15 tracks you give me this.”

DJ Drama would later confirmed to XXLMag that ‘Fif had to undergo surgery for a “stomach virus” and he would be fine. “First they wanted to keep it quiet, but he’s not a quiet guy,” he said. “He should be cool. It’s nothing that serious.”

50 Cent and Drama are currently promoting their collaborative mixtape ‘The Lost Tape Gangsta Grillz,’ which is due out on May 22.

On Thursday (May 17), 50 posted another photo looking like his old self sans the stuffed animals. “I’m feeling better today I think I’m gonna get out of the hospital soon. EMINEM called me last night I love him that’s my boy,” he wrote to his followers.

We are glad that 50 Cent is feeling better and ready to get back on his daily grind of feeding the fans that pure and uncut street-hop music.

Sounds like Rihanna has a new “rude boy” in her life. Rumors are spreading like wildfire that the ‘Where Have You Been’ singer has been getting hot and heavy with New York Knicks player JR Smith.

The Boombox reports that RiRi has been engaging in quite a bit of PDA with the Knicks’ bad boy. A spy told InTouch that the pair hung out at New York City’s Veranda nightclub and dished, “They were very flirty in the club all night and holding hands. She was sitting on his lap and was really into him.” Ow ow!

Smith is one of the most controversial players on the New York team and is frequently in trouble — which seems to be just Rihanna’s type, however unfortunate that may be. Smith, who has two kids, plead guilty to a reckless driving charge in 2009 (the same year Rihanna was dealt blows from her bad boy ex, Chris Brown), earning himself a month in jail, 500 days of community service and a seven-game suspension from the NBA. Further adding to his dangerous appeal? Smith was fined $25,000 for tweeting a photo of a thong-clad model in his bed — and later shut down his old Twitter account after rumors spread that he wrote in the same style as the Los Angeles-based Bloods gang. Sounds like a winner to us!

We bet mentor and Brooklyn Nets co-owner Jay-Z won’t be too pleased about RiRi’s new romance — though he’s probably just relieved that she’s not with Breezy!

Kesha has always had a unique sense of style, but she took it to a dangerous level at the BMI Pop Awards — literally.

K Dollar Sign looked stunning in a black and gold flowy dress, gold headband and polished blonde curls (on the unshaved side of her head, that is). Her makeup was equally lovely, with dark eyeliner, shimmery shadow and a deep red lip. The ‘Crazy Beautiful Life’ singer looked straight, well, beautiful. But she got there in a risky way.

Kesha tweeted a photo of herself using eyeliner as lipstick, writing, “Puttin eyeliner on my lips. No big deal y’all.” Thing is, it could be a big deal healthwise.

Us Weekly reports that the violet eyeliner Kesha used on her pucker instead of her peepers is pretty dangerous if ingested, according to the product’s Material Safety Data Sheet. The liner, which appears to be CoverGirl’s Liquiline Blast Liner in Violet Voltage, can make wearers sick if ingested — and if you wear lipstick, you’re bound to ingest some of it (women are estimated to ingest over five pounds per year!). The data says that “accidental ingestion of undiluted product may cause mild gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.” Ick!

Be careful, Kesha! That sounds worse than a Jack Daniels hangover.

Following in the footsteps of Jay-Z, rapper T.I. also stands behind President Obama’s recent announcement of his support for states to legalize same-sex marriages. The controversial issue has sparked plenty of non-stop debates between gay advocates and political pundits.

For the Atlanta rapper, gay marriage is a matter of a personal choice and holds no bias on the hot-button topic. “Just to speak honestly and being frank, I don’t care,” said T.I. on Wednesday’s episode (May 16) of RapFix Live. “I think that if a matter doesn’t affect your daily life, you shouldn’t take a hard stand on it. If it’s not something that directly affects you, if it doesn’t affect you, what difference does it make to you what other people are doing with their lives?”

“I think that you should be able to do whatever you want to do,” he continued. “I don’t see how it matters one way or another.”

As we previously reported, Jay-Z co-signed with POTUS’ stance on same-sex marriage during an interview with CNN.

“I’ve always thought it as something that was still holding the country back,” Jay said. “What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That’s their business. It’s no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”

When Jay-Z was asked if he felt Obama’s decision to support gay marriage would cost him votes, he shrugged it off. “I think it was the right thing to do,” he said. “So whether it cost him votes or not — it’s really not about votes, it’s about people. So whether it cost him votes or not, I think it was the right thing to do as a human being.”

How exactly The Situation plans to maintain his new found sobriety on a show fueled by alcohol is unclear but the ‘Jersey Shore‘ star is bound and determined to return for the show’s sixth season, drunk or not. “Bound” is the key word here, as The Situation will be forced to miss a court date in his ongoing legal battle with Abercrombie & Fitch due to his contractual obligations to appear on the MTV hit this June.

“The Situation,” government name Mike Sorrentino, is suing the clothing company for ten-million dollars for selling “Situation” and “G.T.L.” themed apparel. Abercombie & Fitch claims their designs are pure parody and therefore non-infringing on any trademarks Sorrentino or MTV might hold. Interestingly enough, A&F once offered to pay Sorrentino not to wear their clothes.

TMZ reports The Situation, who was recently in rehab for a substance abuse problem, is scheduled to appear in court for the case on June 14th but is asking to postpone the date, as he’s to appear on “Jersey Shore” from May 22nd to July 7th.

Though both the show’s marquee stars, The Situation and Snooki will be back, with one sober and the other pregnant, we’re left wondering what’s the point.

From Justin Bieber to B.o.B, Taylor Swift has been branching out to work with other young superstars in various genres. Her latest collaboration is with British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. The two delivered matching tweets yesterday to tell the world about their songwriting session.

Sheeran teased his followers by first announcing that he was writing with “a very cool artist” without naming names. A few hours later, he and Swift spilled the beans:

We love this collaboration, as both performers tend to write sensitive, introspective songs about their lives. Many Twitter users were excited about the news, though one Sheeran fan jokingly gave the young Brit a word of caution: “Don’t do it Ed. Don’t fall into her trap. She’ll write songs about you!”

Swift has been working on new songs that may end up on her follow-up to ‘Speak Now,’ which may come out later this year. Sheeran experienced massive success last year in England with his album ‘+,’ which will see a U.S. release in June.
