The reviews are in for Tyler Perry's new 'Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor,' and despite only having a supporting role, Kim Kardashian did not manage to tempt critics into giving the film positive marks.

The reality star, who was nominated for a Razzie Award for her work -- if you'd call it that -- in 2008's 'Disaster Movie,' has not won over the hearts and minds of cinephiles this time either.

TheWrap's critic Alanso Duralde didn't mince words, saying Kim was "as nasal and awful an actress as you might imagine."

Peter Sobczynski, writing for RogerEbert.com, wondered how it was possible that "someone so famous for her curves could deliver her lines so flatly," while the New York Times' Andy Webster called her "grating and tone deaf" and "entertaining for all the wrong reasons."

If you didn't know, the film is about an ambitious woman named Judith being courted by a married billionaire. Kim plays Judith's co-worker, but it doesn't seem like anyone in the press would want to work with her, because the scathing reviews continued.

Joel Amos of Moviefanatics.com said, “Let’s just say that the question of whether the celebrity gossip maven can act is answered within 60 seconds of her cold absence of any feeling performance."

And then there's Frank Scheck of the Hollywood Reporter, who delivered this deathblow: "Kim Kardashian, whose monotonous line readings demonstrate that she saved her real acting talents for her sex tape."

Hang on, we'll get some aloe for that burn.

But it wasn't all scathing. Miriam Bale of the NY Daily News gave her some (backhanded) recognition, saying, “Underneath a kabuki mask of thick makeup, (she) successfully plays up a Marilyn Monroe wiggle and breathy squeak.”

So when Kim gives birth to the bouncing baby messiah, Ms. Bales will probably be spared.

Despite the awful reviews (the film is currenty sitting at 18 percent on Rottentomatoes.com while the recent Steve Carell bomb 'The Incredible Burt Wonderstone' garnered 38 percent), the film still made $22.4 million. If you listen carefully, you can hear Tyler Perry maniacally laughing en route to the bank.

Still, we'd tell Kim to keep her day job. If she had one, that is.
