8 Reasons To Get Pumped Up for this Houstonopoly Pop-Up Venue
Houston has managed to take America's most beloved and classic board game and create a life-sized version for us to enjoy this summer. Creator Sherri Handrinos has managed to open a pop-up venue of Houstonopoly. This life-size game is filling up 10,000 sq ft of space with a board game that represents H-Town to a T.
With the artistic help of Franky Cardona, who hand-painted everything, the game showcases Houstons most iconic spots, landmarks, streets, and people. From Beyonce and Travis Scott to the George R. Brown Center and the Minute Maide Park, this board showcases it all.
The Houstonopoly pop-up venue is located right in the heart of the Rice Village and will be up until July 31st. A full game is estimated to last around 90 minutes, which is a considerable amount of time since it's a giant size game, not your little tabletop board game.
The price to get in for each adult is $20, kids are $15, and young children under three are free! This pop-up venue sounds like a really good excuse to pack up the car and take a day trip to Houston. Charge up your phone because Houstonopoly is a goldmine for your #instafeed.
