Austin Texas Lands #1 Top Spot for Best Tacos in the Country

Texans are very passionate about their tacos, specifically early-morning breakfast tacos. A recent survey from Real Estate Witch ranked tacos across the United States, and unsurprisingly, one of our very own cities took the number 1 spot.

Austin, Texas, is America's best taco city. Out of all the restaurants in Austin, 10% of them are taco places.

I know what you might be thinking, Austin, really? Have no fear, San Antonio made the list too, taking the number 4 spot. San Antonio has the most taco passion, based on Google search trends.

Other Texas cities also held their ground, Houston made number 10 and Dallas took the number 20 spot on the taco list. Although Austin took the #1 spot, California won overall as the best state for tacos, with four California cities placing in the top 15.

WORST TACO CITIES

Most importantly, the list reveals a place you might want to avoid ordering a taco in. Buffalo has the lowest average rating for tacos and if you plan on ordering tacos in Cleveland, you might be out of luck considering it only has 1 taco place per 100,000 residents.

WHERE TO FIND A GOOD TACO

If you find yourself in Las Vegas, look around, they have the highest-rated taco, according to Yelp. Here are some more cities with top-ranking tacos:
