A disturbing discovery led Austin Police Officers to the body of a 63-year-old man stuffed inside a cardboard box. The victim's roommate, 24-year-old Aident Hunt, has been arrested and charged with the murder.
There are some things that would likely live with me forever, and discovering a dead body in a cardboard box would probably be on that list. On Thursday, November 25, 2025, officers received a call about a deceased person near a bus stop. When officers arrived, they located a cardboard box that had 63-year-old Robert Wentworth hidden inside.
Wentworth was pronounced deceased on scene at 5:53 p.m.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Specialists went to work and started to investigate the horrific crime. According to a press release, the victim and suspect were roommates and lived just yards away from where the body was discovered.

Search warrant finds evidence of a crime.

A search warrant was executed at Hunt’s residence, where evidence related to the murder was discovered. Just days later, Aiden Hunt was arrested without resistance and charged with First-Degree Murder.

Police are asking for assistance.
