Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away last night (July 26), nearly six months after being found unresponsive in a bathtub and experiencing what her grandmother Cissy Houston called "global and irreversible brain damage." Many expressed their condolences online after hearing the tragic news, from fans of Bobbi's late mother Whitney Houston to celebrities who either knew the family personally or were longtime fans themselves.

Singer Dionne Warwick, who is Whitney Houston's cousin, appeared on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live late last night. Cohen asked Warwick what she wanted people to remember about Bobbi as a person, beyond what she was in the context of her famous parents and her mother's legacy.

"She was a sweetheart. She will be missed, that's for sure," Warwick said. "She was a good girl, she was a good little girl. She really was." She went on to say that Bobbi is in "much better hands now."

Meanwhile, stars conveyed their shock, sadness and even relief over the fact that Bobbi was no longer languishing in her medically-induced coma. Model and reality star Kylie Jenner tweeted, "Rest in peace #BobbiKristina. Got a chance to hang out with u once & I'll never forget it or you! Ugh this is so sad :(" Others shared their favorite photos of Bobbi and her mother Whitney, including actress Sherri Shepherd, who captioned a picture of the two with a quote attributed to the singer: "Motherhood changes you… you don’t live for you, you’re living for your children” Whitney Houston #RIP Bobbi Kristina."

Kim Richards of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills voiced a sentiment likely shared by many outside observers — particularly in the three years since Whitney Houston's death —writing, "I'm so sad about #BobbiKristina It seems like she never had a fair chance at life. Now to be gone at only 22 .... Heartbreaking." See more celebrity reactions below.
