Cardi B Embraces Her Latin Roots in “I Like It” Video Featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin
Cardi B continues to drop off visuals for her hit-heavy new album Invasion of Privacy, and today (May 29) releases her new "I Like It" music video with Bad Bunny and J Balvin.
The Eif Rivera-directed video features the Bronx native tapping into her Latin roots, as she sports a slew of cultural ensembles while walking through a lively neighborhood. As Cardi shows off her colorful clothing pieces over her new baby bump and embraces the warm sunshine while the Invasion of Privacy track plays, Bunny and Balvin hang out with some gorgeous models in the nighttime while flaunting some fancy vehicles. It's unclear how far along Cardi B was into her pregnancy when she filmed the video, but it looks like it may have taken place over a series of time given that her bump is less noticeable in some scenes than others.
The "Bodak Yellow" rapper has been making sure her fans receive as much new material and content as possible while she takes a hiatus to rest up for the arrival of her baby with her fiancé, Offset. Earlier this year, Cardi delivered her "Bartier Cardi" video and even dropped off the visuals for her "Be Careful" record last week (May 21).
After this summer, Cardi will be back in action after giving birth, as she is slated to join Bruno Mars on his 24K Magic Tour.
