Drunk Fan Rushes Mound to Fight Pitcher in Minor League Game [VIDEO]

Fans can get close to the action at minor league sporting events, but this is a little much.

A Texas League game between Corpus Christi Hooks and Midland Rockhounds turned ugly over the weekend when a fan ran onto the field to try and fight Midland pitcher Blake Hassebrock after Hassebrock hit Hooks batter Telvin Nash.

The Midland bench and umpires all swooped in quickly to diffuse the situation.

Nikolas Swope, 35, was reportedly drunk. He's looking at charges of criminal trespassing.
