Get Your Turkey Trot On… Virtually

Cuero Wellness Center is putting a virtual spin on its annual Turkey Trot 5K for 2020!

This year, due to COVID concerns, Turkey Trot 5K is going VIRTUAL!

You still need to register and you'll still get the great SWAG, the funds will still benefit Cuero's historic TURKEYFEST, the only thing that's different is that you'll have to record your path and time to see the results posted online!

That's right! Those that wish to participate can register online, receive their Turkey Trot 5K t-shirt and race goodie bag/packet and all proceeds will benefit the Turkeyfest committee to support their local scholarships and projects.

This family-friendly event allows participants to run, walk or jog a 3-mile course of your choice. Registration is $25 per person before Oct. 1. After that date, the registration fee increases to $30.

It's been a long pandemic and it's time to get your TROT on. This is a great event for the WHOLE family as you choose how you want to get to 3 miles!

“We invite you to try something a little different and exciting this year for Turkey Trot as we go virtual for our annual event. The Turkey Trot VIRTUAL 5K will be held where ever you prefer to do the three miles - walking trail, treadmill, neighborhood - you pick the path! We ask that you complete the 5K between Oct. 1 and 12." says Tami Brzozwski, Turkey Trot Race Director. "Send us a screenshot of your path and time to tamib@cuerohospital.org and we'll post the virtual results on our website,” Tami offers.
