Texas Star Mia Scott Joins Pro Softball
Mia Scott said nothing—as usual—and then did everything, as usual.
The Texas softball star just made her next move official: she’s going pro and joining the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL). Scott made her debut rocking a bright purple Volts uniform, a team led by none other than Cat Osterman.

Scott’s always been a bit of a mystery. In four years at Texas, she never gave a single media interview. Not one, and honestly she didn't need to. Her actions on the field said more than any interview would be able to reveal. She's just a straight-up dominance at third base and the kind of bat that changes games. And after helping the Longhorns win their first-ever Women’s College World Series this month.
Pro Softball Making Major Moves
AUSL isn’t your average pro league either. It’s flashy, fast, player-run, and built for stars like Scott. It's where the best of college ball go when they’re not ready to hang up their cleats or move to Japan.
Funny enough, just a few weeks ago, Coach Mike White said he didn’t think she was going pro. She wasn’t feeling it. Now? She’s on the Volts and everyone is stoked.
