Post Malone Orders $8,000 Worth of Popeyes to Feed People at His 2017 Coachella Party
Post Malone is willing to spend big money on Popeyes. The "Congratulations" artist catered his party at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival with 10,000 biscuits from the fast-food chain. The purchase left him with an $8,000 tab.
The Texas rapper's Coachella party was just the beginning of a busy schedule on the festival circuit. Post will be performing at the 2017 Greatest Day Ever Festival in New York as well as the Miami-based Rolling Loud Festival, which recently staved off the threat of cancellation.
“Today was a great day for hip-hop and for the culture,” Rolling Loud Festival co-founder Tariq Cherif said in a statement to XXL. “Rolling Loud Festival is proceeding as planned at Bayfront Park in Miami, FL on May 5-7. I’d like to thank the City of Miami, Bayfront Park Management Trust, our team, our lawyers, the artists, managers, booking agents, and most of all, the fans! Tickets are almost sold out so get yours while you still can!”
In addition to Post's festival performances, the Stoney artist is also planning to release his sophomore album, Beerbongs and Bentleys, in June. Post originally announced the LP's title in December 2016. He shared the album's tentative release date last month in an interview with Hunger Magazine.
