Squid-Shaped UFO Spotted Over Texas Sky—Real or AI Fake?

It's a bird, it's a plane, no... It's a squid flying over the Texas sky.
Yeah, you read that right, kinda. A squid-shaped UFO was allegedly spotted floating over Dallas, Texas.

It started when DramaAlert posted a video on X (formerly Twitter), showing this glowing, floating object in the sky. They captioned it:
“SQUID SHAPED UFO SPOTTED OVER DALLAS, TEXAS.”

Immediately, the internet lost its collective mind.

“Bro, that was my drone.”
“Weird. They don’t sell that kind of fireworks in Texas.”
“AI af.”
“The government is trolling us.”

That last one feels a little too real.

There’s no official confirmation, and some folks are already yelling "AI!" faster than you can say “Squid Gate,” but once I saw the video, I couldn't stop watching it.

Like... why does it kinda look real? But also fake? But also not fake enough to sleep tonight?

Why Texas Stays on Alien Watch

I wasn’t even surprised this happened in Texas. If aliens were gonna touch down anywhere, it would be here. Especially Houston, which has the highest number of UFO sightings in the whole state, over 435 reports since 1995.

And no offense, but I totally get why:
It’s massive (7+ million people = 7 million possible shaky iPhone videos). It’s got NASA right there in town
The light pollution and insane number of planes flying over make it way too easy to see something weird.

Texas: BBQ, Football... and Aliens?

It’s not just Houston, though. Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and El Paso are all regulars on the UFO tracker lists. With all the airports, military bases, and our state’s general “I dare you” attitude, it’s basically an alien’s playground.

We don’t even flinch anymore. Texans see a glowing object in the sky and go: “Huh. That’s new.” Then take a picture and keep driving. Anyway, I have no idea what that squid UFO was.
