Sex Offender on the Run After Escaping Custody in Texas

UPDATE: As of 12:45 p.m. on January 24, 2025, Saucedo is still at large.

The Waller County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for Salvador Saucedo, a suspect who escaped custody while undergoing tests at Bellville Hospital.

Saucedo was initially detained on charges of possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and assaulting a peace officer.

Authorities have now revealed that Saucedo is also a registered sex offender with outstanding warrants for stalking and indecency with a child in Brazos County. This development has intensified the urgency to locate him.
