The State Fair of Texas went viral after people began posting photos of an embarrassing mistake the fair made.

A BIG MISTAKE GOES VIRAL

As people walked into the fairgrounds they were greeted with a welcoming sign. However, the sign turned comical when visitors noticed a mistake. 

The sign read "Howdy folks! We're glad you here!"

Many people began to snap photos and point out that the sign used the word "your" instead of "you're." The State Fair of Texas quickly caught wind of the mistake and called it out X.

According to the fair, Little Tex was in charge of proofreading the sign but failed his job. They posted this hilarious video was captioned:

"This is what happens when we let Little Big Tex proofread, but we’re so glad YOU’RE here!" they posted. 

They posted a video showing Big Tex replacing the sign and correcting the mistake.

TRAGEDY AT TEXAS RODEO

Recently, a tragedy struck a Texas rodeo after a young man was thrown from his horse and killed.

26-year-old Skee Burkes took his last ride on September 9th after entering the West Texas Fair and Rodeo. According to accounts from spectators at the event, Burkes had fallen off his bronco and suffered a fatal blow when his horse stomped down on his head.

Emergency responders were nearby and quickly rushed to the scene after Burkes fell, but the fatal damage had already been done.
