Severe weather season is here East Texas. Know the difference between a weather watch and warning.

For those across the country that don't deal with tornadoes. You probably won't think this affects you much. However, Texans are keeping an eye on the changes going on at the NOAA.

The National Weather Service is still working to determine if more tornadoes dropped from the sky.

This year's hurricane season in Texas could be a doozy.

A tornado that began near Silverton, TX stayed on the ground for nearly 30 minutes on Sunday.

You think grapefruit size hail is big? Texas has seen larger, much larger hail.

Tornado alerts are being issued all around Texas as severe weather makes an appearance right before the weekend.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Victoria County until 11 p.m. this evening.

Cities that could see strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon include Aransas Pass, Beeville, Fulton, Goliad, Port Lavaca, Refugio, Rockport, Sinton, Taft, Victoria, and Woodsboro.

The storm prediction center has placed Victoria and the Crossroads within the at-risk area for severe thunderstorms this afternoon. Wind, hail, and an isolated tornado will be possible this afternoon and early this evening.

While the severe threat remains low to moderate the chances for 2 to 3 inches of rain look very likely in the Crossroads today and tomorrow.
