Texas Attorney Killed in Murder Suicide by 52-Year-Old Wife
A Texas attorney was shot and killed by his wife before she turned the gun on herself inside their $1.6 million home.
CRIME SCENE INSIDE TEXAS LAWYER HOME
Police were called to the home of an award-winning Texas personal injury lawyer after gunshots were heard coming from the area. When police arrived they entered the 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom home and made their way to the master bedroom.
When entering the master bedroom, police walked into a shocking crime scene. Laying on the bed was 61-year-old Jerry Hernandez and his wife, 52-year-old Sonia Hernandez. The couple was bloody and dead from gunshot wounds.
INVESTIGATION A MURDER-SUICIDE
According to police, they were investigating the situation as a murder-suicide. Records from the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office show Jerry's death was a homicide, and his wife Sonia's cause of death was listed as a suicide.
"We were deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of our colleague, Jerry Hernandez, and our deepest sympathies are with the Hernandez family during this incredibly difficult time," Davis Law Firm said.
The couple left behind a 25-year-old daughter.
"We are still awaiting details, as this unexpected loss came as a shock. As we take time to process this news, our priority will be to offer support as we cope with this tragic loss together," Davis Law Firm continued.
SAN ANTONIO FATHERS KILLS ENTIRE FAMILY
