A hilarious design fail forced a new Texas Rangers cap to be pulled from stores.

New Era dropped a new design for the Texas Rangers with a hilarious design overlook created an instant viral moment after unintentionally displaying a vulgar Spanish word.

Fanatics unveiled a new Texas Rangers cap from New Era’s Overlap 5950 collection. The design seemingly looks normal until you piece together a few letters.

The Design Mistake Immediately Called Out Online

The cap itself is blue with "Texas" spelled out and the Texas Rangers signature "T" embroidered over the "X." At first glance, nothing appears out of place but more than a few Spanish speakers noticed a design flaw.

The letter "T" overlapping "X" visually creates a new word. The "Texas" word transforms into a Spanish slang word used to describe women's "bosoms," but in a less elegant way.

The cap instantly went viral and was quickly pulled from online stores as the design went under review but not before the internet got ahold of it.

Reddit Users Don't Hold Back

One user on Reddit hysterically said:

"They took TeTas from us. We used to be a country. A proper country."

However, many people think it wasn't a mistake, but instead a great marketing opportunity.

"I know about twenty words of Spanish and I saw it. I think at least a few people knew they had a best seller on their hands if they said nothing."

Interestingly enough, this isn't the first time an MLB cap faced a design hiccup.
