UPDATE: Father Seen Searching for Body of Missing Baby
UPDATE: The father of Emmanuel Haro was spotted in the Badlands with officials searching for the body of baby Emmanuel.
In a case already full of twists, a Texas nonprofit has thrown gasoline on the fire. The Uvalde Foundation for Kids, formed after a tragedy in Uvalde, Texas, offered a lifeline to the parents of missing 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro.
But after multiple red flags, the foundation has lost patience and is demanding answers.
At first, the foundation put up a $5,000 reward and prepared to send volunteer search teams from Texas to California. Their goal was to bring baby Emmanuel home after his mother claimed he was kidnapped outside a Big 5 in Yucaipa, California.

However, when the parents stopped communicating with law enforcement, the reward was pulled and the search offer rescinded.
The Texas nonprofit sends out a firm message.
In a fiery statement, the foundation didn’t hold back:
“If someone threw me a lifeline as we have done for them, I’d reach for it before it ever hit the water. And yet here, silence….. We are running out of patience!”
They called on Jake and Rebecca Haro to prove they want their son found by actively joining search efforts.
The Foundation challenges parents of a missing son.
The foundation had one simple request: step forward, join the search, and you’ll have protection and support.
“Finding Emmanuel should supersede everything else,” they wrote. “If you have nothing to hide, step forward and you will find you have more support than you could ever imagine.”
But now, both parents have just been arrested for suspicion of murder.
Texas offers help to find baby Emmanuel.
The Uvalde Foundation has made it their mission to protect children everywhere after seeing tragedy unfold in their own backyard. Now, the eyes of both states are locked on the Haro parents, who have now been arrested on suspicion of murder, and a baby who is still missing.
Authorities are continuing their search for Emmanuel and ask anyone with information to contact the sheriff's Specialized Investigations Division at (909) 890-4904.
