Officers got to the house in just three minutes. They found the woman outside, scared but safe. She told them she had shot at the man, who was still in the garage. When police went inside, they found Mondragon badly hurt with gunshot wounds to his chest and face. His pistol was on the ground next to him.

TEXAS WOMAN NOTICES SOMETHING SUSPICIOUS

The woman said she first noticed a dark truck following her after she left a nearby Taco Bell. The truck followed her to her house and parked right behind her car in the driveway. Scared, she ran inside, grabbed her pistol, and got ready. When Mondragon tried to get in, she fired several times, hitting him twice.

SUSPECT CAPTURED AND CHARGED
