The Astros Hit 5 Home Runs in One Inning Against the Red Sox

The Houston Astros just tied an MLB record last night and it was a beautiful sight.  Here is what makes this moment so much better, it happened against the Boston Red Sox!  The Houston Astros hit 5 home runs during the 2nd inning of last night's game. it was the eighth time that it has happened in MLB history and the first time for the Astros. Their previous record was four home runs in an inning on Sept. 8, 2004, when Craig Biggio, Jeff Bagwell, Lance Berkman, and Mike Lamb each homered in the first against the Reds.

Red Sox pitcher, Nathan Eovaldi retired the Astros with just five pitches in the first inning. The Astros made sure that wasn't going to happen again.  Yordan Alvarez started the hit parade by taking it over the green monster.  Kyle Tucker went yard next followed by a back-to-back Jeremy Pena. They were just getting started!  Michael Brantley came up later in the inning with 2 runners on and hit one over the right-field fence. Then Yuli Gurriel tied the MLB record by going over the green monster as well. FIVE home runs in one inning.  Kyle Tucker wasn't done yet, he added a grand slam for grins in the 4th inning. The offense was on fire last night.
