According to the financial website WalletHub, Texas is ranked 2nd in the nation in the average growth of the number of small businesses, 4th in the average length of workweek, 9th in cost of living, 14th in the availability of human capital, and 28th in labor costs. Overall, these and other factors make Texas the 2nd best state in the nation to start a business. We're also 3rd in business environment rank, 10th in access to resources, and 25th in business costs.
