UPDATE: We took a quick break from the station and headed over to the Farmer's Market Wednesday morning. With just a few minutes to spare, can we just say " WOW, WOW, WOW!" The Victoria Farmer's Market continues to grow AND impress us!

Two new vendors to mention; Green Table a local food truck and vegan menu specialist was at the market with delicious vegan meats AND there is a new Indian cuisine vendor who was selling garlic naan and fresh hummus. OMG, it was so good!

If you haven't been to the Victoria Farmer's Market before, this is THE weekend to go!

This weekend is a huge weekend for our Victoria Farmer's Market! It's their annual Spring Into Summer Harvest Festival which will not only include homegrown, homemade and handmade items from our local farmers and vendors but there will also be live music, cooking demos, face painting for kids, and snow cones too! Something for everyone right here in our hometown. And hometown is really what the market is all about.

Here is something incredible the Victoria Farmer's Market does for the community, outside of providing us nutritious and delicious homegrown local foods.

The Victoria Farmer's Market has really grown in the last few years, making it one of my favorite Farmer's Market to go to in Texas. I love supporting local farmers and I especially love knowing where my food was sourced from. But there is another BIG reason why I shop at Victoria's Farmer's Market and that is because they are partners with our very own Food Bank of the Golden Crescent. These two entities work TOGETHER to help feed the hungry, not just in Victoria, but surrounding counties as well.

Here are just Ten of the Top Picks You'll Love at the Victoria Farmer's Market, but truly, check the market out and see why you'll love ALL of the vendors!
