Fatal Tractor Accident Leaves 2 Dead in Texas

On a seemingly routine Monday night, tragedy struck on Interstate 35 near mile marker 38, leaving two individuals dead and a community reeling from the aftermath.

The incident, which occurred around 11:30 p.m., involved a fatal collision between a tractor-trailer and a gate, prompting a flurry of investigations and questions.

Encinal Police swiftly responded to the scene, their flashing lights cutting through the darkness of the night. Initial assessments painted a grim picture: the tractor-trailer had purportedly attempted to bypass a Border Patrol checkpoint before careening into the gate, with devastating consequences.

2 MEN TRAGICALLY KILLED IN TRACTOR ACCIDENT

Among the debris and chaos, two lives were tragically lost. Both men, suspected to be migrants, met their untimely demise at the scene, leaving behind a void of unanswered questions.

In the wake of the accident, law enforcement agencies, including the Department of Public Safety (DPS), mobilized to manage the fallout.
