A Union Pacific train jumped the tracks Thursday afternoon just east of Gordon, Texas, sending several cars into a pile and sparking a grass fire. Video from the scene shows train cars stacked on top of each other, with smoke rising from the fire burning alongside the tracks.

Union Pacific officials confirmed there were no injuries and no evacuations were needed. Palo Pinto County Emergency Services treated the scene as a hazardous materials situation until they could confirm what the train was carrying.

By late afternoon, officials said none of the rail cars were leaking their contents. Fire crews had contained the grass fire, but the tracks remained closed while crews worked to clear the wreckage.

The cause of the derailment has not been released, and Union Pacific says an investigation is underway.
