Cop Survives When Huge Tree Falls on Him During Traffic Stop

This routine traffic stop turned out to be anything but.

Centerville, Iowa police officer Jeremy Veach miraculously avoided serious injuries when a tree fell on him after he pulled over a car.

The footage was captured by Veach's dash cam.

The driver Veach stopped was also not hurt and did not get a ticket.

Veach says he knows he's lucky. “I was picking tree bark out of my hair — it was in my ears. It could have been a lot worse than it was.”
