There was a slight confusion as to which Buc-ee's was on fire. However, the Southeast Caldwell County VFD verified the fire on social media and cleared any confusion by issuing this statement online:
Crews are working on a structure fire in the area of I-10 and 183 in Luling. Despite the sign and some information you may have seen, the fire is NOT the new Buc-ee’s travel stop. Please avoid the area if at all possible.
