CHICK-FIL-A PLANT-FORWARD

Chick-fil-A just announced a jaw-dropping entrée that has heads turning. With more and more people removing meat from their diet, it was only natural for Chick-Fil-a to create an entrée to better serve its "plant-forward" customers.

EXTENSIVE RESEARCH TO DEVELOP

"We explored every corner of the plant-based space in search of the perfect centerpiece for our plant-forward entrée,” said Stuart Tracy, culinary developer of the Chick-fil-A Cauliflower Sandwich.

THE ALL-NEW MODERN SANDWICH

Say hello to the all-new Chick-fil-A Cauliflower Sandwich. Made with delicious cauliflower this meat-free sandwich is prepared in a similar fashion as other popular items on the menu.

The company realized the need for a plant-based item and began developing a delicious alternative to its chicken sandwiches. Stuart Tracy, culinary developer of the Chick-fil-A Cauliflower Sandwich said in a press release, "After a significant amount of development, we knew we had a one-of-a-kind entrée; one that puts a delicious spin on what we’re known for – great tasting food with ingredients you can trust.”

WHEN AND WHERE THE ITEM DROPS

The all-new sandwich drops on February 13. Initially, the sandwich will be tested in three markets:

  • Denver, Colorado
  • Charleston, South Carolina
  • North Carolina’s Greensboro-Triad region

If all goes well, hopefully, Texans will be able to try out the sandwich soon.

HERO OF SANDWICHES

Cauliflower is the hero of our new sandwich, and it was inspired by our original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich,” said Leslie Neslage, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A.
