With both their phone lines and internet down, Christ Kitchen is in dire need of local organizations to help spread the word, freezing weather is coming and Christ Kitchen needs donations of items to help keep our community members warm.

With temperature dropping rapidly our families in need will be struggling more than ever before this winter especially with resources strained during the COVID pandemic.

Right now Christ Kitchen's IMMEDIATE need is new or used space heaters, blankets, sleeping bags, gloves, hats, coats in any size.

Since the phones and internet are down, Melissa Rivera of Townsquare Media has agreed to be the contact for this emergency drive. You are welcome to drop off your donation to the Townsquare Media offices at 107 North Star Drive ( located behind Schlotskys Restaurant just past Dodge City Saloon)

If you have questions, please feel free to call Trish from Christ's Kitchen directly on her cell at 361.935.4500.

First opening in 1985, Christ's Kitchen has been feeding the hungry in the Crossroads for over 36 years and may continue to need the communities help in the days ahead. We will keep you posted.

Did you know that Christ's Kitchen serves on average, since the pandemic began about 750 community members a day?

Let's work together to keep all of our Crossroads families safe and warm during this extreme weather! Please share this if you are able. Thank you.
