Congratulations to our Hurricane Harvey Local Heroes

It was one year ago when Hurricane Harvey wreaked havoc on the crossroads. A lot of people suffered greatly as a result of the storm, and a lot of area residents including first responders stepped up and became local heroes by contributing to the area's recovery. In response to their hard work and dedication to helping others, Dr. George Boozalis and Victoria Eye Center made this year's Eyes On Our Heroes campaign all about heroes who gave back to the community through recovery efforts. The nominees were submitted to the Victoria Eye Center Facebook page and the public was invited to vote for who they thought was most deserving of free LASIK surgery. Ladies and gentlemen, we have winners!
