Demi Lovato’s Mom Enters Rehab to Deal With ‘Her Own Issues’
In the last year, Demi Lovato has canceled a tour, entered rehab and gone public with her struggles with bulimia, anorexia and bipolar disorder. It’s about time for things to settle down, right?
Well, maybe not just yet. It was recently announced that Lovato’s mother, Dianna Hart de la Garza, is beginning her own stint in rehab “to deal with her own issues,” according to a source close to the family.
And if that weren’t enough, Demi’s also dealing with the end of her relationship with Wilmer Valderrama, former cast member of ‘That ’70s Show’ and current voice of tool-wielding Disney Junior ‘toon ‘Handy Manny.’ The 13-year gap between the 18-year-old Lovato and 31-year-old Valderrama was too great, according to a source who said, “The age difference meant they were in completely different places in their lives.”
Lovato, who debuted at number one with her last album, 2009′s ‘Here We Go Again,’ recently announced she won’t be going back to her Disney Channel sitcom, ‘Sonny with a Chance,’ choosing instead to focus on her music career.
