Whitney Houston in Rehab for Drug and Alcohol Treatment
Singer Whitney Houston is back in rehab, PEOPLE is reporting.
A rep for Houston confirmed early this afternoon that the 47-year-old singer is "currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment. Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process."
Sources for TMZ, which first broke the story, say that Houston checked herself in about 10 days ago.
This isn't Houston's first stint in rehab. She previously sought help in 2004 and 2005.
Her last CD, 2009's platinum-selling 'I Look to You,' was viewed by many as her official comeback.
