Admit it, you've been wondering for weeks now if you were one of the many people who were exposed to COVID-19 but were asymptomatic. That feeling of fatigue in March? Could that have been COVID?

Well, the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center is here to offer you answers. In exchange, they are asking for you to give blood. Hey, you were thinking about giving blood anyway so this is a win-win.

If you test positive for the antibody you may be eligible to donate what is known as " convalescent plasma" which can serve as a TREATMENT for patients who are fighting COVID-19, MAKING IT A WIN-WIN-WIN!

Test results will be mailed to donors within 14 days of their donation.

Now, before you give blood, know that you can't be sick or showing any signs of illness before you ago and you will need to make an appointment before you go.

Keep in mind the antibody test is not a diagnostic test and will not test directly for the COVID virus.

This offer will begin on June 8th and ends on August 31st.

If you ever needed an incentive to give, NOW IS THE TIME.

Call 361.576.3651 or stop by 1109 Sam Houston to make your appointment.
