Yesterday Governor Greg Abbott issued a waiver that will allow restaurants to deliver alcoholic beverages with food purchases to their customers. This waiver includes beer, wine, and mixed drinks. Governor Abbott also directed TABC to waive some provisions to allows retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers of alcoholic beverages to repurchase or sell back unopened product, such as the beverages that were ordered for concerts that have been canceled or postponed.

The press release does not indicate a specific amount of food to beverage ratio for the delivery order at this time.

To clarify, the stipulations in the waiver from Governor Abbott states that your order must include food and your order must be delivered.

These waivers are a response to the financial hardship caused by COVID-19 that has desperately effected the hospitality industry. as a whole. In Victoria yesterday as well it was recommended by city officials during the daily  Emergency Operations Management meeting that we stream live daily at 3pm on our Facebook pages  that although not mandated at this time, it was recommended that all Victoria County restaurants
