Nearly a dozen riders were left hanging mid-air on a broken roller coaster—right in the middle of a Texas flea market!

RIDERS STUCK FOR OVER 2 HOURS

TikTok user Brenda Lopez took to the app, capturing the terrifying scene at Traders Village in Grand Prairie, Texas. Lopez went live, showing the coaster stranded high above the market, with riders stuck for over two hours. Viewers watched in shock as Lopez shared live updates from the chaotic scene.

The roller coaster, notably not part of an amusement park, left many viewers raising eyebrows. Comments flooded the stream, with users questioning the safety of a flea market ride. “Sketchy,” “unsafe,” and “where are the safety inspections?” were just a few of the concerns flooding Lopez’s feed.

A POSSIBLE RESCUE EFFORT NEARING

In the video, a man attached to safety cables is seen climbing up to reach the stranded riders, sparking a wave of hope among viewers. But just as the rescue began, the livestream cut out—Lopez’s phone died, leaving viewers hanging on a cliffhanger of their own!

While many were left in suspense, sources confirmed the riders were eventually rescued, but not before turning heads across TikTok and raising questions about the unexpected risks of flea market attractions. Safe to say, this is one ride most people are steering clear of!
