I don’t know what’s happening with Subway right now… but I’m officially concerned.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but the best thing at Subway isn’t the sandwiches. It’s the personal pizzas. Forget the footlongs, the real MVP has always been that quick, hot, personal-size pizza. Subway pizza has been my go-to dinner on busy nights.

Weird glitch on the Subway app?

Last week, I tried ordering a pizza through the app and noticed something weird. Every Subway location in Victoria showed pizza as out of stock. Hoping it was just a glitch, I went in person to check.

When I asked if they had pizza, the employee confidently said yes. Relieved, I placed my order and mentioned the app issue. They weren’t sure why it showed out of stock but reassured me everything was available. Cool, crisis avoided..or so I thought.

Devastating news for dinner time.

Fast forward to yesterday. After a tooth extraction, I stopped by Subway looking for something soft and easy. They were out of broccoli and cheese soup, so I went with my backup comfort order: veggie pizza.
That’s when the news broke: They don’t have pizzas anymore.
According to a Subway employee in Victoria, pizza will not be available again until April.
Subway locations are independently owned franchises, which means menu items can vary depending on staffing, equipment, and rollout schedules. However, I’ve looked at the Victoria locations on the Subway app, and it all seems to be the same: no pizza avaliable.
Have you been able to order pizza from Subway recently?
