"She was having a normal conversation with my grandma, and then all of a sudden, my brother just started getting upset." Gonzalez’s daughter Iluminada Torres said.

Torres, who witnessed everything says her mother raised her voice at her grandmother and that's when everything started to escalate. Gonzalez and her son began to argue.

THE ARGUMENT ESCALATES TO THE FRONT YARD

The two ended up in the front yard and that's when the 15-year-old boy did the unthinkable. "It doesn't seem real at all, I don't understand why it happened.," Torres said. The 15-year-old got a shotgun and pulled the trigger, shooting his mother in the back of the head.

"I don't know why he pulled the trigger, I don't know why he was mad at her," Torres shared.

MOURNING THE MOTHER OF 7

Torres describes her mother as the "happiest person that you would ever see walking down the street." The family is devastated and mourning the mother of seven. "Yeah, there's 7 of us. 4 boys and 3 girls," explained Torres.

Gonzalez’s mother Teresa Salazar admits she doesn't remember much about the situation but is devastated at the loss of her child, "I miss her," Salazar said. "I cry all the time."
