It's beginning to FEEL a lot like Christmas thanks to our very own Victoria Parks and Recreation.

Victoria Parks and Recreation scores again!

This time it's with Christmas events filled with fun for the whole family.

Be sure to listen this Sunday, December 5th, to our Townsquare Talks Victoria Extra on your favorite Townsquare Media station as we interview Victoria Parks and Recreation's "Recreation Coordinator", Sara Bryd as she spends a full ten minutes telling us all about some of the exciting events headed to the Crossroads for the holiday season.

Luckily we got the scoop in person and permission to let the Crossroads in on all that's ahead for the holidays!

Let's start with this Friday night's Christmas on the Square! Friday, December 3rd, Christmas on the Square, presented by Victoria Parks and Recreation, Victoria Main Street Program and Townsquare Media will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the lighting of the H-E-B Christmas Tree in downtown Victoria at DeLeon Plaza. It's free for families!

But that's not all, in fact, that's not even close!

Merry Movies on December 11th

On December 11th Victoria Parks and Recreation presents Merry Movies from 5:30 pm to 11 at the Ethel Lee Tracy Park. They are talking hot cocoa, lawn chairs, and cozy blankets. Right now they are working on the rights to play National Lampoons Christmas Vacation as the late movie, but if you have a movie request just let Parks and Rec know by calling 361.485.3200

Christmas Family Expo December 18th

Check this out! Right now Victoria Parks and Recreation is looking for vendors to host booths for their first Family Expo event scheduled for December 18th at the Victoria Community Center Dome. It will be a free event for families and will include fun things for families to do at every booth. Blue Santa will be there too!
