The Original Holiday Artisan Market is Open Today in Victoria
One of my favorite shopping experiences of the year is happening today from 11 am to 6 pm right here in Victoria Texas!
Shopping local is more important now than ever and if you're a fan of artisan and original gifts, the Museum of the Coastal Bend is the place to be today!
I'm talking about the MCB's Original Holiday Artisan Market and it's going to be incredible; artisans from all over the community and state will be on hand to sell their handcrafted items, perfect for the holiday season!
Perusing the MCB website, they offer, "Celebrate the holidays with MCB at The Original Artisans Market. Shop handcrafted, one-of-a-kind items from regional artisans and makers. This is a curated market -- vendors are carefully chosen to represent only handcrafted artisan products."
Now in our 13th year, the CDM Holiday Artisans Market will be held inside the galleries at the Museum of the Coastal Bend for your shopping comfort.
Yes, they have safety measures in place so you can shop without concern during this historic event. The Museum of the Coastal Bend was the first organization to bring a Holiday Artisan Market to the Crossroads.
An enclosed entry tent will accommodate an expanded shopping area for social-distancing. Health and safety requirements, including occupancy limits, facial coverings, temperature screening for entry, and enhanced cleaning will be strictly enforced.
One of the best parts? ADMISSION IS FREE!
MCB members receive a 10% discount at vendor booths too.
This year's participants include: the Backyard Bird Nerd; Crossroads Homemade Goodies; Country Q's; Das Buehler Haus; The Glass Dude; G. Van Dusen Wood Turned Pens; Gulf Breeze Winery; The Herb Cottage; Una Mae Jones; Red Yucca Farm; The Salty Selkie; Santa Rosa Pottery; Seditious Seraphim; Shibori Girls; Victoria Preservation, Inc - VPI; Victoria College Academy of Lifelong Learning.
See, local, handcrafted, and one of a kind, all right here today and today only at the Museum of the Coastal Bend from 11 am to 6 pm located at Victoria College at 2200 East Red River.
