MORE TEXAS FLIGHTS ENCOUNTER EXTREME WEATHER

Many of the passengers found themself with an unscheduled Waco visit. Unfortunately, they weren't the only ones. According to reports, at least another 2 flights were also forced to land early due to rough or extreme weather.

Sunday night many people were still trying to figure out their next steps and how they will get to their intended Houston destination.

"The rest of the folks, a great majority of them, are still at the airport trying to figure out next steps," Dirker said.

Thankfully, the flights made their premature landing safely and with minimal injuries. However, this diversion comes at a delicate time for airlines.

Just last month a Texas woman filed a lawsuit against Delta Airlines after her traumatic involvement in a flight that ended with the airplane flipped upside down on the runway.
