V.I.S.D. to Limit the Number of Spectators at Athletic Events
V.I.S.D. has an update for fans and media about the 2020 athletic season.
According to Crossroadstoday.com, attendance at football games and other athletic contests will be limited by Victoria Independent School District for the entire 2020 calendar.
When the football season does start, V.I.S.D. will be restricting fan attendance based on safety precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Limits on fan attendance will be set according to the State of Texas and University Interscholastic League guidelines.
This means that V.I.S.D. will not issues passes for the fall and game admission will first be offered to the family members of student-athletes who are playing on the field on game day.

KQVT will stream live video coverage of home games at Memorial Stadium allowing fans to watch BOTH East and West home games.
V.I.S.D. will also make some events available for video streaming on their own websites so that everyone can show support for the students.
Victoria Independent School District will observe capacity limits by suspending district, employee, and Gold Card passes for the time being.
