Victoria Police Department is Hosting the 3rd Annual Blue Santa Toy Drive
BLUE SANTA IS BACK:
One of my favorite things about the Crossroads is the way our citizens step up and help each other in need. The Victoria Police Department will once again be hosting its third annual Target toy drive to provide gifts for children enrolled in Region 3’s Early Childhood Intervention program and Toys for Tots. Officer Turner from the Victoria Police Department will be in the studio on Friday morning to give us the latest information.
HOW DO I DONATE?
Residents can drop off new, unwrapped toys 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 19 at Target, 7608 N. Navarro St. Educational and sensory toys for children ages 0-3 are especially needed. If it is more convenient, you can also drop off your toy donations at the Townsquare Media Studios.
CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES IN SOUTH VICTORIA:
Median construction has started at Loop 463 and Business 59 and slowly continues to move westward. Construction also continues in downtown Victoria. Milling operations on BUS 59T between US87/Main St and the Moody St. river bridge is also ongoing! The milling operations will be done in sections and will be performed at night, between the hours of 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning.
REGION 3 NEEDS OUR HELP:
Region 3’s Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program has been serving children in the Victoria community for 40 years. ECI serves families with children who have developmental delays or disabilities from birth to 36 months. ECI provides family support along with resources to improve children’s development.
