VISD offers critical COVID information on their Facebook page weekly.

In an effort to keep families informed and as a way to continue what VISD Superindent Dr. Shepherd calls, " radical transparency," VISD plans to offer families weekly COVID count information on the VISD Facebook page.

VISD toughest questions were answered.

Last week Dr. Quintin Shepherd took time to answer our community's most pressing questions which included recent news regarding some school district's violation of Gov. Gregg Abbott's mask order. The interview aired Sunday morning on Townsquare Media's stations " Victoria Report, Townsquare Extra" Sunday's segments. You can hear critical interviews such as this one with Dr. Shepherd every Sunday morning.

" Masks are strongly encouraged, but not mandatory at this time." Dr. Shepherd offered during the segment of Victoria Report when the hot topic of the mask order from Gov. Abbott came up in the interview.

You can read a copy of the interview detailing the community's top questions in the article button below.
