2 Dead And Decomposing Bodies Found Inside Texas Home

Two decomposing dead bodies were found inside of a San Antonio home.

RELATIVES REQUEST WELFARE CHECK

Around 10 am deputies from Bexar County Sheriff's Office received a startling call. The deputies quickly made their way to the home where they discovered the bodies of 2 deceased men.

FAMILY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT UNABLE TO GAIN ACCESS

The family became concerned back in March when they requested a welfare check after being unable to get a hold of their family members. Police went to the home twice in March but no one answered the door or phone. They used a loudspeaker to get attention from anyone inside the home however, they still could not reach anyone inside.

A STARTLING DISCOVERY

Family members took matters into their own hands and went to the home. They broke down the door and walked into a heartbreaking scene.

One man in his 80s and another in his 40s were found dead and decomposed in a bedroom. Investigators discovered a weapon nearby in the same bedroom.

Officials revealed the bodies had been dead for quite some time and could not state the cause of death due to the state of decay the bodies were in.

WAITING FOR A SEARCH WARRANT

Investigators have requested a search warrant to check out the entire scene. However, while they wait, officers in hazmat suits have been spotted outside the home taking pictures and checking out things while they wait for the warrant.
