A Texas car dealership employee may have helped take a dangerous offender off the streets after discovering disturbing images on a customer’s phone.

Officers responded to the dealership after an interaction between a car salesman and a buyer took an unimaginable turn. The car salesman was in the middle of a business deal with 60-year-old Robert May Jr. While trying to close a deal, May began having trouble transferring certain bank documents from his phone to the dealership. May asked the employee for help transferring the documents from his phone.

An Unimaginable Discovery on May's Phone

The employee gladly took May's phone and began to help with the transfer but never could have imagined what happened next. When the employee opened the files, he reportedly found explicit images involving children.

The dealership’s management was immediately notified, and law enforcement was called to the scene. An officer was granted permission to search the phone and confirmed that it contained child pornography.
