Killer on the Run: Houston Police Searching for Suspect in Deadly Shooting
Tuesday night, an unsuspecting woman was terrifyingly murdered inside a car in west Houston.
The 48-year-old victim was found dead around 9 p.m. outside a gas station on Barker Cypress Road near the Katy Freeway. According to police, she was sitting inside a black BMW with the suspect when he suddenly got out and fired multiple shots, killing her on the spot. Then, he took off on foot, disappearing into the night.
Lieutenant Larry Krauseton with the Houston Police Department said in a press release, "There was a male in the car with her. There was some kind of interaction between the two, male got out, fired several shots in to the vehicle, striking the victim."
Now, Houston police are hunting for the killer—and they need the public’s help.
Who They’re Looking For
HPD just released a surveillance photo of the suspect. He was last seen wearing a gray Nike t-shirt, green pants, and black and white shoes.
