Houston Rapper and 5-Year-Old Daughter Brutally Murdered

An innocent young Texas girl was tragically killed in the crossfire of a brutal attack just days after 5th birthday.

Ronnie Smith, also known as G$ Lil Ronnie, and his 5-year-old daughter, R'Mani, were at a car wash in Forest Hill, Texas. As the father and daughter were sitting in the car, unimaginable danger was lurking nearby.

Gunmen Pull Up

In broad daylight, a white Kia pulled up and suddenly, two men with guns got out of the car and ran up on Smith in his vehicle. The men began to chase Smith around the car wash as they fired shots at him.

A Young Innocent Child Caught in the Middle

Surveillance video shows Smith injured and eventually collapsing near a red car. 5-year-old R'Mani was struck by bullets as she innocently sat in her father's car.

Police and emergency services arrived but in a heartbreaking outcome, they were unable to save the 5-year-old girl or her father. Both Ronnie and R'Mani were pronounced dead at the scene.

A Family Mourning This Tragic Loss

Stella Houston, Smith's aunt was overcome with grief she couldn't understand the senseless crime, "He was just a father taking his baby to get a car wash. And now they’re both gone."

One of the gunmen has been identified and police have issued a murder warrant, however, the second person's involvement is still unknown. Police are confident this was a targeted attack.

This tragedy ended with a young girl senselessly being killed as she innocently sat in a car with her father. It's heartbreaking, it's horrific, and police are diligently working to serve this family justice.
