I did some research and have found the location of some of the biggest lottery wins sold in the Crossroads area.  I have found three really big wins. A jackpot ticket of 12,395,501.07 was sold at Teleferner Grocery on October 31st, 1994. A jackpot ticket of $2,003,552.36 was sold at Albertson's on January 30th, 1993. Back in 2014, a $35 million dollar jackpot ticket was sold in Cuero, Texas at the Valero that was on Morgan Street.

The Texas Lottery has thrown this ticket concept out a few times. It's a $10 ticket with the top prize being $500. The name of this Texas Lottery game is $50,$100, or $500 (game 2525). It appears the chances of winning something 'sizeable' are more likely, or are they? Let's take a look a the odds by the Book.

Man Wins $1 Million Scratch-Off Jackpot After Being Cut in Line

While this story did not happen in Texas, I think this is an excellent example of instant karma. As reported by KSAT-12 in San Antonio, Stephen Munoz Espinoza, 43, of Delray Beach, Florida, claimed a $1 million prize from a scratch-off ticket he bought after a man jumped in line. Here is how the story goes: Stephen was in line at one of those lottery vending machines, and some guy cut in front of him for whatever reason.  Stephen did not tell the guy anything and proceeded to the convenience store line and bought the same ticket from the cashier, which was a $50 ticket, 500X The Cash with a top prize of $25 million. Stephen might be thankful to this guy for cutting in front of him.

He won ONE MILLION DOLLARS! The Florida Lottery Commission announced on Wednesday. The release states that Espinoza chose a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000. He and his wife plan on buying a house, according to the release.  I guess this guy was in the right place at the right time.
