Power Stick Deodorant Recalled, Texans Urged to Check Now
If you’ve grabbed roll-on deodorant from Walmart, Dollar Tree, or Amazon lately then, heads up. Over 67,000 cases of deodorant just got pulled from shelves, and it’s stuff many Texans have in their bathroom right now.
The FDA says the company behind it, A.P. Deauville, violated good manufacturing practices. That means the products weren’t made the way they’re supposed to be. There isn’t technically any official word of contamination, but there is enough of a red flag that they’re recalling all of it.
What’s being recalled:
•Power Stick For Her Roll-On – Powder Fresh
•Power Stick Invisible Protection – Spring Fresh
•Power Stick Original Nourishing Invisible Protection
All of them are roll-ons, all sold nationwide, and all have landed in carts right here in Texas.
What to do with your recalled deodorant.
If you’ve got one of these in your drawer, toss it. Don’t use it. You can also take it back to the store for a refund, whether you got it from H-E-B, Walmart, or even online.
No one wants a product that might not have been made safely anywhere near their pits, especially in this heat.
It’s not about a bad scent or funky packaging. This is a safety standards issue, and with recalls like this, it’s better to be safe than rashy.
So, check your deodorant. If it’s Power Stick roll-on, it might be on the list. Below are a few of the major lot numbers that are in the affected batches.
