Pumpkins, Pets and Trick or Treating at Victoria’s Farmers Market
The invitation on their Facebook page reads, "Celebrate Halloween with us at the Victoria Farmers' Market! Kids can trick-or-treat at our vendor booths, paint a mini pumpkin, and enter the costume contest. Pet parents you can even dress your furbaby up for the pet costume contest!"
That's right, it's the Victoria Farmer's Market presents their Halloween Spooktacular and all of the Crossroads is invited.
The Victoria Farmer's Market has gone through some incredible growth and changes over the last few years and it just keeps getting bigger and better. Now open every Saturday and featuring pre-ordering capabilities for those who aren't able to visit the Victoria Farmer's Market in person, this holiday season will be one for the record books. Take their Halloween Spooktacular, they have even included our pets in the fun!
Events at the Spooktacular include a children's costume contest, a fur baby costume contest along with an opportunity for arts and crafts through pumpkin painting, AND maybe the best part...trick or treating for children throughout the vendor booths.
It's a perfect way to start your Halloween holiday and the best part? Portions of the proceeds from the Victoria Farmer's Market goes to the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent.
At the Victoria Farmer's Market, you can shop for locally grown produce, farm fresh eggs, local honey, fresh grass-fed meats, an assortment of baked goods, homemade pickles and jellies, live plants, homemade noodles, and more EVERY Saturdays from 9:00 to 1:00 at the Pattie Dodson Center.
Most vendors accept credit/debit cards and everyone at the Farmer's Market is required to wear a mask. At the Spooktacular on October 31st, Halloween day, you can also wear your Halloween costume mask as well. Join them for a spooktacular day of fun while supporting local farmers and our local food bank.
