Congratulations are in order for members of the Victoria Police Department.

There are many ways to offer our thanks to the men and women who are a part of our community that chose to serve and protect each of us.

One way is to join the VPD in the acknowledgments that they hold dear, which recently included the retirement of one of our officers who has served our community for 23 years as well as recognition for a young officer who serves not only our community but our nation as well.

Today the City of Victoria, along with our Victoria Police Department released several photos of both recognitions.
